The atmosphere is lovely, the chicken gyro was good but a bit too small for the price. The blonde girl bartender was very nice, top notch. Will come back just for her.

Not bad on match day.
Slightly better service than in its Wetherspoon days, but still a fair wait. Decent pint of Tim Taylor Landlord at a good price. Plastic beakers annoying, but expected in pub so close to stadium.

A spacious pub in a former cinema. It was a Wetherspoons but is now under different management - when we visited on a Monday afternoon it was almost empty - I imagine it might have been busier were it still a Wetherspoon. Two of the draught beers we asked for were off - no doubt a consequence of lower demand at the time, however they were replaced without quibble. Worth going in just to see the interior.

A converted theatre pub that has Arsenal memorabilia scattered throughout. A great pub to visit before going to a game.

EDIT: Not a spoons anymore!!! I no longer go here as a student as the drinks are too expensive now.
Cheapest spoons I’ve seen in London. Great prices and lovely venue 👍

Cavernous and slightly stinky. But decent enough of a weekday. Nice bar staff too, one of whom knows Dave Vanian of The Damned. Also karaoke nights are something... else.

I love the historic cinema decor. Think it’s fantastically charismatic as a venue. I just don’t like the steep prices. £3.50 for a half pint is a joke in this part of town.

This spot is perfect for karaoke, with a super friendly staff and great energy. Plus, the atmosphere is really enjoyable. This spot is awesome for karaoke, with a super friendly staff and great vibes all around, and the prices are quite fair. I just wish they had a drinks menu too.

Fabulous property of a pub. Old cinema from the 1940s, and it shows in a very good way. Slightly run down in places, and the old rooms do need a bit of continuous tlc

Expensive drinks and obnoxiously loud music, its a pub not a club

No longer a Spoons but still a good bet for pre and post match days at the Emirates Stadium.

I visited yesterday with a group of friends. It was completely empty and one of the staff members was very unwelcoming, rude and with pretentious tone. We were not demanding, we brought money to the business and the lady serving us behaved like it is a punishment to be working in that place. I work in the bar and i know very well that this is not the behaviour and responses a server should give to the customer.
The other, blonde lady very nice and polite. Food also good.

This is our place to meet prior to watching the Arsenal on match day.
It used to be a Wetherspoons, however I think it’s now privately owned. Great drinks and perfect music before we make our way to the best ground in the UK to watch ARSENAL ❤️❤️

A timeless bar in northeast London and the historical and level of pop-class has become inferior to the middle, treating them to some extent reasonable, toilets need cleanliness and tidy.
بار عفي عليه الزمن في شمال شرق لندن واصبح تاريخي ومستوي رواد البوب الطبقة اقل من الوسطي، وتعاملهم الى حد ما معقول، دورات المياه تحتاج نظافة وترتيب.

This gets 2 stars instead of 1 because the person who served me at the bar was pleasant. The other 3 members of staff I interacted with were rude and made me feel very unwelcome.
